What we collect

Only what you give us. Skips Directory does not gather information about anyone from other websites, does not buy data, and does not build profiles from third-party sources. If it is on your listing, you typed it.

• Account — your email address and a hashed password.
• Listing — the display name, description, contact preference and locations you enter.
• Photos — images you upload. Location and camera metadata are stripped automatically on upload; we never store the original file.
• Security — a salted hash of your IP address for rate limiting and the audit log. We do not retain the address itself.

What we do not do

• We do not cross-reference your phone number or email against other sites.
• We do not match your photos against other listings or other services.
• We do not import listings. Nobody can be listed here without creating an account.
• We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Your control

From your privacy page you can, at any time and without asking anyone:

• Hide your listing immediately.
• Withdraw consent to publication, which also hides your listing.
• Download everything we hold about you as a single file.
• Delete your account and all associated data permanently.

Retention

Data is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, your listing, photos and personal data are removed. Records that an administrative action occurred are retained without personal data, so that disputes can be resolved after the fact.
